About Me

Third-Year Carleton BJ Student

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

I’m Isabella Joy, a passionate and driven student currently immersed in the world of Journalism at Carleton University. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to storytelling—whether through writing, conversation, or creative projects—and that love has only deepened during my studies. I’m especially interested in pursuing a career that blends entertainment and investigative journalism, where I can both captivate audiences and shine a light on important issues.

As I continue to build my skills in reporting, writing, and multimedia production, I’m eager to explore stories that inform, inspire, and engage diverse communities. Journalism, to me, is about connection—finding the human element in every subject and giving people the information they need to understand the world around them.
